“In 2014, my mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and her health deteriorated quite rapidly. My Dad, her main carer along with myself was also diagnosed with a serious illness that meant he was unable to care for my mum and so that just left me. We desperately searched for a care provider that would give my mum the dignity that her cruel illness was robbing her of.…And then I met Emma, who came to meet Dad and I at our home to see if Evelyn Grace could help. That meeting changed our lives. Emma is an extraordinary individual and her team of carers, nothing short of Angels. They provided my mum with not only the personal care she needed but offered a fantastic support to my Dad and I. Emma puts the person at the centre of everything she does and will do anything she can to accommodate what’s asked of her and her team.

Sadly, both Mum and Dad passed within months of each other but Emma and her team were there right up until the end supporting us, some had become like family. I will be eternally grateful to Evelyn Grace for the care and support they gave my family during our darkest days”.

“The wonderful carers at Evelyn Grace supported our mum and our whole family as she battled with Lewy Body dementia. All the carers who looked after mum were kind, compassionate and treated her with great dignity. We started with two visits a day but moved up to three as mum needed more support. The whole team at Evelyn Grace was incredibly responsive to her needs and nothing was too much trouble. Mum liked every single carer and looked forward to their visits as they her helped her to live her life as independently as possible.
Entrusting the care of your mum to other people is a huge decision but we know we made the right decision with Evelyn Grace. I would not hesitate to recommend them”.
