Evelyn Grace Ltd. was established in 2008 in memory of Evelyn Grace Gilkison (1916-2008). We have been providing the highest quality, individualised care for older people in their own homes for over a decade.
Evelyn Grace was founded by Emma Devenny, Granddaughter of Evelyn Grace Gilkison. She brought with her a wealth of specialist experience in caring for older people, both in hospital and community settings. She is qualified to Masters Level, achieving an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice (Older People). Her passion and dedication to caring for older people laid the foundations for Evelyn Grace Ltd.

Our Beginning…
Having worked at the Royal Berkshire Hospital for many years as a Senior Staff Nurse, progressing to Ward Sister and later Practice Educator, Emma became increasingly concerned with the number of hospital admissions due to inadequate, sometimes poor, community care provision. This, combined with the inability to find appropriate, high quality home care for an elderly loved one was the inspiration behind Evelyn Grace Ltd.
She believed that care really should mean care!
